Tastes of East Village

East Village Shopping Centre
4 Defries Avenue
Zetland, NSW 2017

East Village shopping centre in Zetland, NSW, is celebrating the best of Australia’s up and coming food trends this April 9-22. There will be a host of mouth-watering foodie experiences, as well as a chance to win an exclusive dinner experience with celebrity Masterchef, Justine Schofield, as part of Tastes of East Village. Become a master of cocktail mixology or the pizza making expert you always wanted to be by attending the many classes on offer over the two-week period. Child-friendly workshops perfect for the school holidays will also be held where kids can learn the benefits of eating healthily. The proceeds from the workshops will go to hunger relief organisation Foodbank.
Other fun activities during the event will include:
• Bike for your bun. Mr. Bao and Virgin Active have joined forces for redeemable Tastes dollars where participants can peddle a kilometre for $1 towards their favourite gourmet steamed bun.
• PETstock will host ‘a dog’s breakfast’ where pet lovers can come along with their fury family member and enjoy a nutritious meal.
• An interactive project encouraging passers-by to ‘play with their food’ by painting with dye-heavy foods such as beetroot, turmeric and berries. And one designed just for the kids.
• Italian Aperitivo Night hosted by Lucio Pizzeria.

For more information on Taste of East Village, including a full program of events and offers, Recipes from Justine Schofield or for more information on the food donations for Foodbank, visit and or call (02) 8398 5658. Tickets for the workshops go on sale on April 3.
